Port Douglas Rugby 7s International Competition

The Port Douglas Rugby 7s International Competition kicks off on 1 March, 2014 and will be hosted by the Port Douglas Reef Raiders. The playing fields are nestled between world heritage listed attractions the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. This is a chance to experience a tournament of footie in the tropics.

Teams from Cairns, Blackwater, PNG and Port Douglas were competing last year, but this years draw will have some interesting teams competing.

The Port Douglas Rugby 7s sees male and female teams battle it out from 8.30am until the evening, when the winners are awarded the respective competition purses, and then it’s time to hit the night in the town of Port Douglas.
