I recently spent a wonderful day with friends on the superb new boat at Port Douglas “Aquarius”.
My friends came here on their first trip to Port Douglas from Deniliquin NSW . What a lovely introduction to the reef. The day was sunny and the winds were low. We set sail at 9am and had a beautiful trip out to the Low Isle . We spent an hour or so snorkeling the reef with a marine biologist then went onto the low isle for a sunbake and wander around the Island.
We saw an abundance of marine life including, reef sharks, turtles and beautiful corals.
After a yummy gourmet seafood banquet for lunch we went for a trip in the glass bottom boat.
The trip home included a few glasses of wine, the wind in our hair and a relax on the top deck.
